ESQUE is the creation of Saher Qadir, a graduate from the world-renowned Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors. She stands out as the single degree holder in Furniture Design amongst the vast array of architects and interior designers present in the Pakistani market.
Given Saher’s vast experience in diverse markets and settings after working as an interior designer with global architecture firm Norr in Dubai and working in the local market as a furniture designer for YOCA – ESQUE aims to be at the forefront of design evolution in Pakistan.
ESQUE’s design philosophy focuses on quality and authenticity. Each piece is handcrafted in Pakistan using only the finest materials and receives personal attention from the designer herself to ensure each item is held to the highest standard of quality. Drawing inspiration from the masters of art and design around the world coupled with her travels, knowledge and exposure to different cultures; ESQUE promises to bring you unique pieces that are beautiful, elegant, evolutionary and eclectic.
Saher incorporates all sorts of textures in her creations to harness their unique beauty from a variety of wood including Sheesham, Oak, and Walnut; to acrylic, and fabrics. ESQUE is one of the rare local furniture labels offering a vast array of acrylic furniture that is the current global trend. The popular use of ombre on ESQUE pieces has also been a hit, and not to forget the sleek high gloss finish polish on her wooden pieces. The use of colors through beautiful fabrics and striking painted wood is a signature element of the inspiring new label.
